A very special interview!
And a very honoured guest!
You’ll be no doubt pleased to hear…
That unlike my usual tomes dear reader, this article is likely the shortest I’ll ever write… because its main aim is to do my best, to get you to click the below button…
‘Why’ I hear you cry…? Well, it’s because I was very graciously asked by the inimitable JP Clark who writes the brilliant ‘Home & Hort’ substack, to be his first guest interviewee on his new monthly series called ‘At Home With…’
So, whilst this article might be short, JP got the full brunt of my waffle, but asked some brilliant questions and shared topics I don’t think I’ve ever discussed before! It was lots of fun putting it together and hope you’ll thoroughly enjoy it… Billed as a friendly natter on a squidgy sofa with a generous pot of tea and plenty of biscuits, I hope you’ll enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed pulling it together!
JP is actually partly why I’m here. I was hugely inspired by his writings and seeing him blossom on here. We’ve followed one another on Instagram for a very long time indeed! I think he’s on renovation number 3 in the times I’ve had Admirals (and I think it’s 9 in total!), but this last one he’s doing, is a real, 15th century treat and, like Admirals will hopefully become for me, will be the forever home!

He was outrageously kind when I mentioned I was thinking of starting up on Substack - spending lots of time helping me get to grips with it all, as whilst the writing is lots of fun.. the tech side of things is not my forte so having him there holding my hand was an absolute blessing!

So, massive thanks JP Clark - I know we’d both be hugely grateful if you’d pop over there and show his article some love!
Thanks lovely bunch!
Greg Xx
